Arrow Media has announced the strengthening of its senior team with the promotion of Tim Antill to the newly created role of Chief Financial Officer. Antill has served as Financial Controller at Arrow Media for the past five years, demonstrating exceptional leadership during his tenure.

In his new role as CFO, Antill will oversee all aspects of Arrow Media's financial operations, playing a pivotal role in driving the company's continued growth and success. With his extensive experience in financial management and his deep understanding of Arrow Media's business dynamics, Tim is well-equipped to lead the company's finance team into the future.

Tom Brisley, CEO, Arrow Media, says: “Tim has consistently demonstrated his commitment to excellence and his ability to deliver results and we are thrilled to appoint him as our new CFO. His strategic mindset and financial expertise make him the ideal candidate to lead our finance team as we deliver our next stage of growth. In an ever changing landscape it is imperative to have such a trusted pair of hands at the helm.”

Antill joined Arrow Media in 2019 as Finance Manager, responsible for overseeing all of the company’s financial operations and compliance. His role has seen him work closely with Senior Management and the Board to provide timely and accurate financial information to help achieve and manage business growth.

Antill, a CIMA qualified Accountant, has over 20 years’ experience in the TV industry across Drama, Documentaries and light entertainment genres, both as a Production Accountant and later as Finance Manager, at places such as Endemol, Darlow Smithson, BBC, Olga TV and TalkBack.

Tim Antill, Chief Financial Officer, Arrow Media, added: “I am delighted to take on this new role and excited to continue contributing to the success of Arrow Media. I look forward to working closely with our talented finance team to support the company's strategic objectives and drive sustainable growth in the years ahead.”

Arrow Media has become a world-leading producer of premium factual content. The company’s achievements include becoming the UK’s largest supplier of true crime programming, while annually delivering over 130 hours across genres that include history, nature, adventure, science, and more. Arrow Media’s recent slate includes notable successes such as See No Evil, American Monster and High Speed Chase for Investigation Discovery, Magic of Disney's Animal Kingdom for National Geographic and Disney+, and it recently won its first commission from A&E Networks for an eight-part series, The Secrets Of The Hells Angels.

In July 2023, multinational content creator and producer, Asacha Media Group (Asacha) announced the acquisition of a majority stake in Arrow Media - this month the acquisition of Asacha by Fremantle was confirmed. As part of Asacha and Fremantle, Arrow Media is continuing to pursue further growth in the UK and US, while expanding into new markets and exploring international co-production opportunities with other factual producers within the pan-European group.

Antill takes up his role with immediate effect and will report to CEO, Tom Brisley.
