Stephen Dost promoted to role which will help drive relationships in the US

Leading factual producer Arrow Media has announced the strengthening of its senior team with the promotion of Stephen Dost to the newly created role of Vice President, Content.

The promotion of US-based Dost to the newly created position recognises the importance of continuing to build Arrow Media's presence in the US. Dost joined Arrow Media in 2022 as Executive Producer as part of the editorial team overseeing the production of projects for the US markets. In this new, key leadership role, Dost’s remit will now include helping devise and deliver the company’s US strategy and driving relationships with new and existing clients.

Tom Brisley, CEO, Arrow Media, says: “The US is a hugely important territory for Arrow Media. Stephen has an extensive understanding of the US market and is an absolute go-getter. I’m delighted that he's taken on the mantle of VP, Content to help further establish Arrow Media’s presence stateside.”

Arrow Media has become a world-leading producer of premium factual content. The company’s achievements include becoming the UK’s largest supplier of true crime programming, while annually delivering over 130 hours across genres that include history, nature, adventure, science, and more. Arrow Media’s recent slate includes notable successes such as See No Evil, American Monster and High Speed Chase for Investigation Discovery, Magic of Disney's Animal Kingdom for National Geographic and Disney+ and Seven Days on Mars for the BBC.

Stephen Dost, Vice President, Content, Arrow Media, added: “Arrow Media has built an impressive footprint in the US, across multiple platforms, with a portfolio of returning series as well as launching a number of new projects and working with major streamers on high profile programs. I am thrilled to be taking on this role to continue to build our relationships and our portfolio here.”

In July 2023, multinational content creator and producer, Asacha Media Group (Asacha) announced the acquisition of a majority stake in Arrow Media. As part of Asacha, Arrow Media is continuing to pursue further growth in the UK and US, while expanding into new markets and exploring international co-production opportunities with other factual producers within the pan-European group.

Dost takes up his role with immediate effect and will report to CEO, Tom Brisley.
